First snow

We had our first taste of winter last week when we woke up to see a skiff of snow on the ground. Cully has had a change of heart since last winter when he refused to wear snow boots or anything warm and seemed to be appalled at the idea of being outside at all. As soon as he saw the snow he wanted to "check it out" and was truly impressed! Grady has been focusing on eating and bulking up. He's three months old now and with the advent of cold weather he wants to know "which way to the bench press?"

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! We had fun carving pumpkins, Cully liked watching Dad scoop out the goop, but there was no way he would touch it! My success of the evening was not burning the pumpkin seeds for the first time ever, I'm just becoming so domesticated! Cowboy Cully got duded up and ready to go trick or treating, but was bummed when a "tall horse" did not come pick him up. After dealing with that disappointment, we were off to 3rd avenue for some candy collecting. It only took a few houses for cowboy Cull. to get into the spirit, he would walk up to the house on his own and say "fank you" instead of trick or treat (at least he's polite), he would then show the kind and patient homeowners his stash of loot and say that he was off to the "next one". Now the challenging part of the holiday...resisting the constant whining and begging for "chonny" (candy).
